President Truman's Presidential Library

President Harry S. Truman

A replica of the Oval Office

An interested tourist

Bess, Margaret, and Harry did a whistle stop campaign tour.

Harry split the Democratic party over his stand against segregation in the military services.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of my ol' buddy, The Lone Ranger!

Harry S. Truman was sworn in as President after the sudden death of President Roosevelt.
Maybe that's the reason for the grim expression on Bess' face.

Glen posed with Harry for this picture.

Several beautifully restored cars were on display.

President Truman's statue in the town square.

Right across the street we found the soda fountain where Pres. Truman worked as a young man.

So we did our civic duty and stopped in for some ice cream.

Now I see why the other blog is silent...Great photos, as usual. What kind of camera did you get?
