While in Independence, MO, we went on a tour of the beautiful temple built by the Community of Christ with our friends, Steve and Vicki Reigle. We can see the temple's beautiful stainless steel spire from our campground and found the inside to be even more beautiful.
It was a special treat to hear music from the huge organ as we entered the main sanctuary.

This cross is made up of 100 different kinds of wood. Not only is it a beautiful symbol of our Savior's sacrifice, but it is an amazing example of the artistic diversity of our Creator.
There were so many varieties of wood that differed in color, texture, and grain.
The temple is graced by beautiful artifacts throughout.
